Samsung Galaxy S9

Upgrading from the previous flagships will be the Galaxy S9 featuring the 7 nm Snapdragon 845 or 8 nm Exynos 9810 processor, with a dual-lens rear camera on the S9 Plus variant, and fingerprint scanners will get embedded into the Infinity display. It is expected to come with 4 GB RAM as seen in the previous models. Battery boost is expected in terms of charging speed as well as capacity. There could be cosmetic changes as well that will certainly be welcomed by the smartphone users around the globe as they are eagerly waiting for the launch of the successors of the Galaxy S family. It is rumored that the Galaxy S9 and S9+ might release around April 2018.

Nokia 9

The Nokia 8 hasn’t been able to capture the global smartphone market as HMD and Nokia might have expected. However, the smartphone users around the globe are having high expectations from Nokia and thus are eagerly excited to see what Nokia 9 can deliver. The Rumor Mill suggests a larger 5.7 inches 18:9 display, an extra 2 GB of RAM, a dual-camera – potentially 13 MP with separate RGB and monochrome sensors and a 13 MP front camera for the wonderful selfies. The new technology that was seen in the Nokia 8, the 360-degree Ozo audio recording will surely also make its way to the Nokia 9 expected to be launched in Q1 or Q2 of 2018.

LG G7

LG has found it hard to settle in the market ever since it jumped in the smartphone segment. LG G6 has been on the market for a short while and the rumors suggest a new flagship LG G7 in the making. The Rumor Mill suggests that LG will release this smartphone as early as in the first month of the Year featuring the newest Snapdragon 845 in order to capture the market of the likes of Samsung’s S9 & S9+.

Google Pixel 3

Three new Google Pixel series phones are expected to be released in the month of October 2018, with one of them potentially poised as a rival to the Global smartphone leader Apple’s flagship iPhone X. Codenamed as Albacore, Blueline and Crosshatch in the Google database, the new pure Android phones will run on the to-be-announced Android 9.0 P, and they are likely to feature the 7nm Snapdragon 845 processor and along with a 18:9 pOLED panels.

Samsung Galaxy X

Samsung had patented the foldable smartphone technology a few years back. And now the world is expecting to see a first of its kind to be launched this year. The long anticipated foldable smartphone technology might just be revealed featuring two different OLED panels.

When the Samsung shared the idea of foldable smartphones in 2011, the device looked chunky and awkward, but even back then it somewhat worked, remaining intact after 100,000 folds, with only a 6% drop in brightness at the center, where all the folding action happened.

New iPhone 2018

With the great market anticipation of the iPhone X due to which it has crossed all leaps and bound to be the winner of the global smartphone category, we must expect a larger, improved version of the iPhone X itself. The new iPhone could feature a much larger screen and could improve on the spec sheet as well. Apple is certainly going through the feedbacks of the iPhone users and would surely work on the shortcomings to create a better user experience.
