The information about the next iPhone, iPhone 11 or it can be iPhone XI, is already leaked. According to few sources from Taiwan (China), the next iPhone will be coming with three cameras with the 3D vision for Augmented Reality purposes.
Last month, in April, Huawei has already launched a triple camera phone, Huawei P20 at a whopping price of Rs.64,999.
Two of the three cameras will be able to “look” at an object from a different angle, therefore creating a 3D object. Some analysts think this will be a better implementation of the idea rather than the ToF (time-of-flight) technology that reads the time a laser takes to bounce off surrounding objects.
Other specialists suggest a stereoscopic solution where a triangulation method is more feasible because of long-term power saving and better outdoor implementation.
According to the sources, Cupertino currently gets cameras from Sony, Sharp, LG, and Dali. Among them, only the latter has the ability to match Apple’s demand and to deliver triple setups in time. It’s of course too early to be sure and chances are things will change by the time this moves away from the drawing boards and onto the manufacturing lines. Don’t worry, we will keep you updated.
