The world is technologically growing at an incredible pace and so is our banking sector. Now, Hinduja Group’s Indusland Bank has come up with our nation’s first Interactive credit card which has buttons on it. This will take the use of credit card in whole new dimension. These whole new modernised credit cards will be equipped with LEDs and buttons. It will serve in a lot of ways and cut down the lengthy procedure of calling customer care.

India’s first Interactive Credit Card has Buttons on it

This technology is achieved by installing mini chips inside the cards which make it interactive. Interestingly, these mini chips are battery powered which is another wonder. There is no wonder why these cards are being called the next generation cards. These chips are manufactured by Dynamics Inc which is US-based tech firm.

How to use it?

This card is equipped with four buttons which are interactive in nature. The buttons are embedded and their LEDs for each of them. Following are the buttons:

  • EMI – The payment will be paid by EMI method and the period for it can be selected by tapping either of four LED buttons. The four periods are 6 months, 12 months, 18 months and 24 months. Presently, you need to call the customer care of the respective bank for converting the payment method to EMI.
  • Pay by Credit – The amount will be paid directly from a credit card.
  • Reward points – The relevant rewards points on the transaction will be collected.

While making payments at various places like malls, restaurants or hotels, users can make use of any one of these options.

One of the major advantages of this technology is that it saves a tremendous amount of time. All the calling to customer care or filling bank forms and waiting for them had been cut because of such interactive cards. Not only that but also the POS transactions can be now seamlessly converted to EMI one. Apart from this, the Indusland bank will be offering several new reward schemes for the users of this card.

It is only a matter of time for this technology getting implemented in other banks cards. This new next-generation card is all set to redefine the payment system and will further enhance the cashless transactions.
