The most renowned brand when it comes to speakers and other audio products, Bose had released one of the most aesthetic and elegant looking speakers, the Bose SoundLink III wireless Bluetooth speakers which is still a popular goto for under Rs.25,000.
What’s In The Box ?
The Bose SL III box contains the speaker, the wall charger, user manual and a variety of wall adapters for different countries. The packaging is fairly simple considering the premium feel of the speaker.
Build & Design :
The Bose SLIII has a modern look to it specially with the grey metal grille that runs along the top and bottom of the speaker. These aesthetically pleasing speakers have 14 hrs of battery life with 6 hours of charging time. On the top of the speaker are some rubber like buttons for power on/off, volume control, mute and bluetooth/aux mode. The speaker however does not charge with the conventional micro USB cable, but uses a separate one that is included. On the left side of the charging input, is a micro USB input (named service) which cannot be used for charging but is there for updating the softwares for the speakers.
The speaker is larger in size when it comes to comparing it with other portable speakers in the market but offers much better sound quality and battery backup. It also has an indicative light when the speakers have low battery. With two options to connect, bluetooth and aux, the Bose SoundLink III weigh about 1.4 kg.
The Bose SoundLink III has excellent sound range. There are notable and varied lows, complemented by reasonable high. The speaker is equipped with four neodymium transducers and dual-opposing passive radiators which, according to Bose, “combine with a new digital signal processing algorithm and improved electronics to play louder than its predecessor, while maintaining balanced and natural sound at higher listening levels”. The SoundLink III is more uni-directional in terms of sound distribution. But with that caveat seems to come greater amplitude than the aforementioned, along with a higher amplitude that could easily serve as one’s full time and only speaker.
With top quality sound and an almost portable quality, the SoundLink III ranks fairly at the top. 22,000 is towards the top end of Bluetooth speakers. But with that you get a Bluetooth speaker that can be used in a wider variety of scenarios thanks to its amplitude and spectrum of sound. If you’re looking for the best Bluetooth speaker available from Bose, however, this is it.
