Samsung launched its Galaxy Note 7 this year. The smartphone was about to be released in India on 2nd September, 2016 when it was recalled on the same day by the company due to reported cases of blowing in parts where it was already launched. It was sure a disappointment for the customers who were waiting for it but this step had to be taken. Since then, the company has been trying to tackle the defect but even now, there are no proper updates on its launch.
Meanwhile, there are 2 rumors in the market. One is about Samsung ending its Note lineage and focusing on only smartphones and no phablets. And second that Samsung will be striking back with an improved Samsung Galaxy Note 8 soon. The news has not been confirmed at the moment and neither any specification is revealed officially for the Galaxy Note 8. It is also in the air that Samsung will be skipping its Galaxy Note 7 like it skipped its Galaxy Note 6 and will be making a straight jump to Note 8 model from Note 5 model in 2017.
The incidents which have taken place with the Galaxy Note 7 has resulted in major losses to Samsung both in respect and financially as well. Samsung cannot really afford any further mishappenings. The only way for Samsung to win over the hearts of its Samsung fans is now to deliver them a new mind blowing device. They should keep in mind that their next device in the Note series be it be Note 7 or Note 8 will determine its coming lineage for the same.
Talking specifically about Note 8, the smartphone-tablet will be similar to Note 7 in many aspects. It is expected to have an iris scanner like Note 7 did with 4 GB RAM and enhanced battery for better backup. Even the edge design is expected to continue due to the overall classic look it provided in Note 7 and S7 Edge. The dimensions are roughly expected to be same though.
Overall, we can still expect another hit on the new Note 8 by Samsung in 2017 due to the fact that what all they have at stake. Sure Samsung has realized this and to regain its respect, it would surely be coming up with a device worth waiting and paying attention to…
