ZOPO COLOR F1, the successor to its COLOR series, was launched in INDIA on 14 September 2016 and comes with a multi functional fingerprint scanner. Technologically advanced, device competes in the mid range smartphone segment.

After the launch of various mid budget smartphone series in the Indian Market ZOPO, the Chinese smartphone maker has launched its latest smartphone COLOR F1 in INDIA on 14 September 2016. The device is competitively priced at Rs.8,999. The colours available are Gold, Black and White.

The device features a 5.5 inch HD IPS LCD display with a screen resolution of 720 X 1280 and pixel density of 267ppi. It has 2.5D curved glass for better user experience. With a luxurious metal frame it is comfortable to hold and comes with a 8MP autofocus rear camera alongside a 2MP front camera for clicking selfies. With the presence of flash module on the front as well the device is capable of clicking good selfies even in low light conditions.

Color F1 is powered by a quad core MT6580 1.3GHz CPU along with 1GB of RAM. For gaming purpose the device is powered by a Mali 400 GPU. There is an on board storage of 16GB which is further expandable via microSD card upto 64GB. It runs on Android OS v6.0 (Marshmallow) and is backed by a 2300mAh removable battery. It measures 153 X 77.8 X 8.5 mm and supports USB OTG.

Zopo Color F1 is a dual sim device ( Micro-sim and a Nano-sim). For connectivity the device supports only 3G and not 4G. Along with 3G other connectivity options include Bluetooth, Wifi and GPS. The sensors in the device includes Proximity sensor, G sensor, Ambient Light Sensor, Accelerometer and the Fingerprint Sensor.

The biggest unique selling point of the phone includes the Multi-function fingerprint scanner which allows users to do more than just unlocking the device. The scanner sits just below the rear camera and allows to control the device’s camera, gallery, change music tracks and other significant features. Selfies can be clicked by just hitting on the scanner with the finger, videos can be played /paused by simply pressing on the scanner. Gallery can be moved through by tapping and and scrolling across the fingerprint scanner as well as music tracks can be changed with the help of it.

Multi-Account Application, Floating Video Integration and inbuilt Barcode & QR code scanner includes some other features. In the multi-account application, it allows to work on two accounts simultaneously by cloning apps within the device just like Parallel Space. This gives an option to work on two social media or game accounts at the same time thus maintaining a balance between both work and personal accounts.

Floating Video Integration allows users to watch video while the video player floats on the top of other apps thus allowing to work on the phone at the same time, a kind of multitasking. The inbuilt Barcode & QR code scanner helps in providing vital information present on the products unreadable otherwise thus making shopping interesting and more informative.
